Pablo
Ahogado’s love of music started at very young age in the city Bogotá,
Colombia, thanks to his Dad's passion for classical guitar and jazz music.
Pablo started playing classical piano at the age of five with instruction
by Mauricio Villa. At the young age of nine, he started attending the Children's
Conservatory of Music in Los Andes University, where he studied music theory,
was part of the Children's Choir and the Youth Orchestra.
When he was just 12 years old, Pablo’s talent was evident to many when he was awarded a scholarship due to his outstanding progress. Three years later Pablo was making even greater musical achievements with his involvement in various ensembles, as well as being part of musicals: Jesus Christ Superstar and Tommy. Pablo was always interested in the science of sound production, and it was because of this that he chose to move to the United States after he graduated High School.
It was Middle Tennessee State University’s Recording Industry program that further enticed Pablo. During his studies at MTSU, Pablo decided to further his musical studies by taking jazz piano lessons with Dana Landry and Bruce Dudley at the McLean School of Music. It was here that he met percussionist Stephen Richardson and saxophonist Ryan Latham by a chance opening and audition for the local salsa band, Abakuá. Pablo’s talent and love for live performance shown though with Abakuá, which has led him to many other musical opportunities. Of these opportunities, none are as satisfying as Grand Revue, where the music is raw and original.

Paul
Cavitt started his musical career at the young age of 10 when he began taking
piano lessons at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Soon, he found that
he loved playing music, but that piano was not the instrument for him. Paul
was drawn instead to the guitar, where his talent was immediately apparent.
He performed in his high school’s pop ensemble for two years and began
playing with two of its members in the power pop trio, 60-cycle HUM. After
graduation, the band fizzled and Paul’s music life was stagnant until
the partnership with David Guy was formed and Grand Revue was born.

that point on, he began listening to jazz and studying its language. Jody
briefly took lessons with Jeffrey Scot Wills, and has been driven ever since,
willing to consume as much musical knowledge as possible. He continues to
