Funky Kitten
By: Cavitt/Guy/Gill

This is a rocking, guitar driven funk tune with both male and female lead vocals trading lines. Its backed up with driving horn parts and tight keyboard solos by Pablo. This song can be seen as an opener for a lot of shows since it shoots the intensity through the roof right from the start.

Was It Worth It?
By: Van Valkenburg

This tune has a little more folk influence through the verses and choruses, but the band gets its groove on during the bridge. For time purposes, the band had to cut the outro short on the album version but it is definitely a must see live.

Uptown
By: Cavitt/Guy

The title track of the album; this was the first song that Grand Revue ever played together. If you enjoy the band, give this song some credit. Its an exciting song to see live because it is one of the more upbeat songs the band plays. We hope to get your body moving with the Latin grooves laid down by percussionist Stephen and drummer Josh, and the sweet guitar solo by Paul. Everybody likes to groove, but sometimes you just need a rock song.

Are You in the Mood?
By: Van Valkenburg/Guy/Gill

This haunting tune tries to show even more possibilities for the Grand Revue sound. Be sure to check out the mini-concerto between Ryan’s tenor sax and Jody’s flute, and you wont be able to forget the amazing vocal performance by Jenny.

Trail to Truth
By: Cavitt/Guy

The album ends with this triumphant tune about finding your destiny, a fitting choice since that seems to be every musicians’ purpose. Dave lets loose on the vocals for this one with the intensity needed to support the strength of the words. And just when you thought the album was winding down, this tune takes you on a musical journey of highs and lows and eventually gives you one last rocking guitar solo that we hope will keep you coming back for another listen.
